As a publishing analyst, he covered both investment-grade and non-investment-grade bonds from Asia ex-Japan. His team was ranked continuously in the FinanceAsia Fixed Income Research Polls and he was ranked as one of the best analysts in Asia.

Dilip holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (1990). He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst charter (2001). He is also a Management Accountant, in which he secured the first rank in India (1985) and is qualified as a Company Secretary in India (1988).
Dilip regularly speaks in international conferences on Asian economies and credit. He comments regularly on television and news media, both print and electronic.
